Also, the distribution for a B-tier item/weapon from a Rainbow Mode Chest is ~1/8 which you then have to take into account the fact that half of those drops will be weapons rather than items. Glad to see I'm not the only one who was only missing the bloody 9mm (or come across a Glitched Rainbow Chest during reset grind). I wonder if start room chests have a chance to be normal rainbow chests. I had previously found a normal rainbow chest in rainbow mode (they give all the drops, even in rainbow mode). Bloody 9mm was the only item I needed to finish the ammonomicon, just couldn't find a damn lament.ĭuring my resetting, I discovered that the start room rainbow mode chests can be glitched chests (though I did not fight the bosses, as I would expect them to have no drops).
